Poster Competition

E- Poster Competition is organized at MIDS 2022 to encourage students and researchers to present their original research and case reports. All accepted abstracts will be presented at the poster sessions during the conference. The time and date of the presentation will be intimated after the acceptance of abstracts.

Awards will be given to the top Three (3) winners for the categories as follows.

1. Undergraduate students
2. Postgraduate students, researchers, clinicians, and academicians

Eligibility

• All shortlisted poster presenters have to be registered before the deadline of abstract submission.
• This competition is open to all undergraduates, graduates awaiting posting, postgraduate students, clinicians and academicians. 
• Presenters who do not wish to participate in the competition are also welcome to present their poster at the conference (non-competitive category)

Abstract Guidelines 

• The abstract submission deadline for poster competition will be closed on 15th May 2022
• The structured abstract should include details of the contestant as well as the research (e.g., abstract title, name, affiliation, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion). The words are limited to 250 words.
• Abstracts have to be submitted through online or by email to drafafyahya@mahsa.edu.my

Shortlisted abstracts for the competition will be intimated through email 

General Guidelines:

• Please make sure the poster follows the poster guidelines below
• All accepted abstract presentations are required to submit E-poster by 18th May 2022
• Please email the E-poster to: drafafyahya@mahsa.edu.my
•  Your e-poster will be uploaded into the conference website during the whole time of the conference.
• You are required to present your poster (face to face) during your specified slot

E- Poster Presentation Format:

E-Poster (please do not print) should be in portrait orientation and size A1 (594 x 841 mm or 33.1 × 23.4 x 33.1 inches)

The poster should be in English.

The presentation must cover important material that is presented on your accepted abstract.

Place the title of your paper at the top of the poster to allow viewers to identify your paper. Indicate the paper’s title and authors’ names and affiliations. Please underline the name of the presenting author

Prepare all diagrams and paragraphs neatly and readable.

Organize the paper, so it is self-explanatory. You have complete freedom in displaying your information in figures, tables, text, and photographs.

Please ensure that the poster is clear, and the text is easy to read.

All E-posters are to be submitted in Portable Document Format (.pdf)
