Speaker Profile

She specializes in fixed prosthodontics and is presently working as an associate professor in International Medical University. She pursued her BDS from Cairo University (EGYPT), MSc from Suez Canal University (EGYPT) and DClinDent from Suez Canal University and University of Toronto Canada as a joint program. 

She is a member of International Association of Dental Research, Egyptian Dental Association, and Malaysian Dental Association. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals with a special interest in aesthetic dentistry, dental adhesion and dental education.

Synopsis :

The demand for tooth-colored restorations has grown considerably during the last decade. Recent advances in dental veneers and their materials and techniques led to its popularity as a minimally invasive approach in managing aesthetic problems.

Great results with dental veneers require thorough understanding of restorative principles, dental materials, smile design, and occlusion. This lecture will address scientifically-based approach to incorporate these aspects into a clinical decision-making process for dental veneers to ensure longevity and patient satisfaction.
