Lecture
Topic : Clinical tips for successful restoration of fractured and attrited teeth

Abstract :

Crown and bridge restorations are known as the “bread and butter” of dental practice. Severely destructed and attrited teeth due to caries, trauma or parafunctional habits may eventually need to be restored with crowns, with or without endodontic treatment. Application of occlusal concepts in the planning of multiple crowns and bridges in full mouth rehabilitation cases can be quite challenging too. Choice of the right materials, instruments and techniques for preparation of teeth to receive posts and make impressions and provisionals is critical for the longevity of the restorations. This presentation is an attempt to shed more light on these critical factors to help the general dentists be more confident in their approach for crown and bridge cases.
