| Lecture | Lecture 5 : The Cracked Tooth Lecture That Will Change You (And Your Monday)
|
| Date & Time | Lecture 5 : 28 April 2026, 4:05 pm – 4:55 pm |
| Abstract | Cracked teeth are masters of disguise—intermittent pain, normal radiographs, and signs that don’t line up. This fast-paced, case-driven session demystifies cracked-tooth diagnosis and shows how to rescue even extensively cracked teeth with evidence-based, stepwise protocols. Prof Mark will separate craze lines from true cracks, map symptoms to tests (bite, transillumination, selective anesthesia), and interpret CBCT/red flags without overcalling. Then he’ll pivot to treatment: immediate stabilization, cuspal coverage strategy, endo-first vs restore-first sequencing, use of MTA and advanced adhesives, occlusal rehab, and when to say “save,” “stage,” or “stop.” Expect clear decision trees, practical hacks, and real outcomes you can replicate on Monday. |
